Chapter Six

Although, actually, lucky doesn’t really come close to describing Aiden’s position in life. It seems too simple. Too trite. And it’s not that he had forgotten that his wife is sexy exactly. More that this seems to put a whole new spin on what she’s capable of. A different viewpoint if you like. As if he’s seeing her from a completely new perspective.

This situation just seems more intense. The three of them making an unbreakable triangle, even if only two of them tied together by marriage. That being him and her. Not Tony. Although with Chloe unable to take her eyes off his friend while Aiden is the one who peels off her bikini top, followed by the matching thong, he has to keep reminding himself that by rights she belongs with him.

And that despite it seeming so much more probable that Tony would have been the one she married all those years ago. He’s better looking. Fitter. Has the kind of smile that makes women go weak at the knees, and the way his friend is staring at her now, eyes damn nearly eating her alive. You’d honestly think he was laying some kind of claim on her.

Not that Aiden can blame him.

Naked now that both items of her clothing are dropped to the floor, he wonders how long it is since he looked at his wife. Really looked at her. Really saw her and appreciated the delicious curve of her rear. Her soft, taut skin. The plump, fleshy handles on her hips.
